Hernandez injury “no big problem”

chicWest Ham have checked on the broken collarbone sustained by Javier Hernandez and have been assured the player will be fit for the start of the season.

The Irons are moving s fast as possible to do a deal but if that fails have other targets. As reported a few minutes ago the club has pitched its first offer at £9 million.

ClaretandHugh has been told the injury should be “fixed ” in time for the 2015-16 season with a source explaining: “It’s not seen as a big problem. ”

The player sustained the injury in a match on July 2 against Honduras and is now missing from the Mexican squad for the Gold Cup tournament.

Our source said: “The collarbone injury is known and we are happy with what we have been told. He would have no problem passing a medical.”
