Nothing in football surprises me after all these years which is why at around 9/1 or 10/1 I reckon the Irons are tasty little bet this afternoon.
It’s been fantastic to see them score those victories over Arsenal and Liverpool which has given everybody a real lift but it only makes my point – nobody should ever take anything for granted in this game.
Who could imagine, looking at the other side of the coin, that we would go fifty odd years without a win at Anfield and of course our record at Arsenal is pretty awful too.
These are very early days but Slaven Bilic will be relatively happy with the way things have gone and will be travelling to Manchester on a bit of a high because make no mistake that win against Newcastle at the Boleyn was just as important.
You need to be carrying and convincing your own fans and the team did that against Newcastle to set themselves up for today’s match.
City are a very very good team but the defeat in the Champions League this week will have hurt and although people talk about that creating a reaction, it’s not always the case.
There can be a hangover from a defeat like that and with the Irons having developed a great counter attacking game it won’t be easy for the home team.
If we come out of the Etihad with any sort of result to have been unbeaten against three top sides will give us an incredible boost for the rest of the season.
I don’t know and have never met Slaven but I like what I’m seeing and certainly won’t be writing the Hammers off this evening.
Anything is possible …and at 10/1 the Irons are worth a bet.
Legend billy. Claret and Hugh excepts no responsibility for any losses that may incur. Please gamble responsibly. But if billy says it’s alright it’s alright by me. Ha ha ha.
Great read billy hope you write all season, the bookies are giving good odds if we win today you won’t get those odds again when we are at home,
If Kouyate is out why is there only one change at centre half and the keeper ?
I have no idea just what is being said
I have already had my tasty little bet on The Irons.Aint expecting anything back on it though, lol
Good to hear from the Legend on here.Heart says Irons head says Citeh, especially if Kouyate is now out injured.Gutted about that if true.I was looking forward to him kicking Yayas butt round the Etihad 😉
