Heroic Payet back on the case

payetDimitri Payet was again performing heroics tonight (Fri) as France came from behind to win their World Cup qualifying match against Sweden.

Payet found the net from close range with 25 minutes remaining to ensure the Swedes were seen off and Frace stayed top of European Group A.

Les Bleus had fallen behind in the 54th minute when Emil Forsberg opened the scoring from a free-kick but were level when  Paul Pogba nodded home  from Payet’s delivery.

And the 29-year-old, set the French fans alight when grabbing the  crucial winning strike on his 31st appeareance for his country.
