The club has published the long-awaited images of the return of Declan Rice on his return to pre-season training at Penny Hil Park.
The England star took off a deserved three weeks after the Wembley Stadium Euro 2o20 final having a lads holiday on the Greek island of Mykonos followed by a romantic break with his long term girlfriend Lauren on the island Ibiza.
The 22-year-old returned yesterday to undergo COVID testing and medical screening/fitness tests at Rush Green yesterday but joined up with the rest of the squad today at Penny Hil Park to train ahead of the Beyway Cup at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
With the exception of Winston Reid who is in Japan in the Olympics, everyone is now back and ready for the beginning of the Premier League season in twelve days time. Angelo Ogbonna and Jarrod Bowen who suffered small knocks are likely to return to full fitness before the away game against Newcastle United at St James Park on Sunday 15th August.
