Hooray – no Irons drama during this break!

Carroll threatened at gunpoint but no other major headlines!

It’s been a far less interesting international break than the previous one in which the Hammers dominated the headlines following fall-out from the notorious Players Night Out!.

You will remember of course that this was down to the restaurant meeting which folowed the Middlesborough game when Andy Carroll and Darren Randoplh were accused of  being out in old London town at dawn.

We read of little else during the break from Premier League action.

Thankfully we have seen no re-runs of such events nor come to think about it have we heard anything about the incident since despite promises that it will be dealt with despite some chat about  ” dealing with this and we have stared the investigation” chat.

Ah well that’s football and the words carpet sweep and under come to mind! I stand to be corrected 🙂

This tme around such news as there has been applies more to another Hammer being called into the England squad and being entirely ignored. Hopefiully that will change on Tuesday evening at Wembley when Spain arrive

After all what’s the point of involving someone just so he can shake hands with the other players and become used to yet another training camp.

The Tore/Zaza loan saga is coming to an end and and I’m looking forward to White Hart Lane hoping the same is true of the long running Carroll/Sakho soap opera!

Apart from the aforementioned Andy Carroll being allegedly threatened at gunpoint there’s been little else worthy of much interest!

Please let the meaningful football please commence again.

It’s starting to look like a successful season wil be avoiding Relegation .
Not something any of us expected but , that’s how it is .
All we need to do is string together 4 or 5 wins in the next ten games but , it doesn’t look like happening untill we get some striker or other on the score sheet .
We are desperate for Carroll and Sakho to return , that’s basically it . We can and do winge
But untill that net starts having convulsions we are in deep poo .
    Cottee is 100% right .

Let’s wait until Tuesday, I suspect Cresswell will start which is a shame for us as he will be more tired for Saturday but good and well deserved for him. I would like to see Southgate play his strongest team but I think it highly unlikely because of the whingeing and whining of the club managers of playing two games in 4 days we all know how the FA work after all…

Don’t you think that Randy’s two week injury was a little convenient, smacked of a two week suspension to me.

The irreplaceable, unplayable, unique elusive 20 goals a season striker has decided to don his cape and return to the fray for a couple of weeks before the Christmas shopping starts and his annual festive lay off? All hail the China Doll
