Hope for the Hammers

Frankfurt’s shocking home record is giving the Hammers hope that they can overturn the odds against the German outfit on Thursday evening.

The German side looked a very good team against us at the London Stadium and are a fine  good counter attacking outfit.

However, having taken a serious look at them in the first leg Moyes and the boys will no doubt have their own plans on how to cope with, and get the result they need, against them.

They have won just once in their last 11 home games in all competitions per Hammers News.

And despite not being in the best form themselves of late the Irons will be hopeful they can get the goal back they need to bring things back into equality in the second leg and go from there,

The Bundesliga outfit have won just ONE home game in the competition so far – 3-1 against Olympiacos in the group stages having been held at home by Fenerbahce, Antwerp, Real Betis and Barcelona.
