Hopeful Iron “manager” turns down Samdoria

Marcelo Bielmarcelo-bielsasa is desperately keen to be offered the West Ham job but the language barrier is a big problem.

The Marseilles boss has – according to The Mirror – rejected the chance of managing Sampdoria hoping the Hammers will send for him.

But ClaretandHugh has learned that his inability to speak a word of English is a major difficulty for the board although we were told he has pledged to learn English inside four months.

But a source said: “Athough it’s not impossible of course it’s difficult – with so much to be discussed – having to talk through an interpreter.

“Nobody can possibly doubt the guy’s managerial credentials but the lack of English is a problem.”

The Mirror reports that the Argentine has led Marseilles into next season’s Europa League, having been narrowly beaten to a Champions League spot by Monaco but has refused to confirm he will be staying at the club.

However, his enthusiasm for the Irons job isn’t being shared by fans voting in our poll at https://www.claretandhugh.info/poll-pick-the-next-irons-boss/ where he has collected just 4.45 pc (212 votes) of the  17 candidatee named.

  3. El loco, love it.He would stick a few fireworks up the boring conservative Sam fans asses 😉

  4. QuickDraw I don’t care weather he speaks English or not our last manager did and none of the players understood what he required apparently,he said after games that we were to adventurous, attacking to much, ect, ect, but that never seemed to get relayed to the players,
Beisla not only has there form he wants the job which he has been saying for nearly a month and has turned down a great job,
I would still go for Emery but it seems he is not available

  5. I’m the same bubs,in this modern age I doubt if half the dressing rooms understand each other and you’re right the dull Dudley drawl didn’t help anyone.
I’m for any manager who brings new exciting ideas and entertaining football
