How many points from the next four Hammers games?

Here we go again playing the how many points from the Hammers next four games game we usually keep for relegation fights. It’s such a shame it has come to this but it’s where we are and we need to face the facts of what eight games without a win actually means .

When one considers we collected 33 points from our first 19 games and three from the last five you have ask what on earth has gone wrong and for me there are two answers – the missing Lucas Paqueta and David Moyes Plan A because there is no other has been rumbled by managers.

However, should Moyes fail to get at least five or six maybe – as suggested by our image – he might well look for a job in Saudi Arabia.

Visiting managers know who will be playing which makes the Moyes  decision not to give team details before a match ridiculous, subs are rarely made until around the 67th minute and usually normally between five and one minute towards the end.

It’s indisputable that Paqueta’s absence is critical but there are plenty of other problems to consider and they all revolve around a manager who has just that one playing.

So assuming the boy from Brazil will be missing over the next four games as has been suggested to us here’s how I see the games going and I really am trying to be as generous as possible.

Forest Away: They are battling hard in 16th place and at times are quick and mobile which could well unsettle that dodgy back line of ours 1 POINT

Brentford Home: After a couple of defeats against Spurs and Man City the Bees bounced back with a win over Wolves so they will be very much up for this before games against Liverpool at home and Manchester City away 1 POINT

Everton Away: The Toffees are in a similar position to us on current form with two defeats and two draws from their last four – the defeats were by Luton at home and Man City away whilst the creditable draws came against Spurs and Fulham. They will be looking to do the double over us too.1 POINT

Burnley Home: Seven games without a win – identical form to us but if we can’t win this one we really are in a struggle. 3 POINTS
