Steidten becomes crucial Hammers force
Tim Steidten’s has become a crucial Hammers force .
He was the man who brought Edson Alvarez into the club before completing an Ajax coup by persuading Mo Kudus that there was room for both him and Lucas Paqueta in the Hammers team – the one worry the Ghana international had in his mind.

The two arrived for a total of £70 million – an extraordinary figure in these days of hugely inflated fees.
Full credit to David Moyes, however, for the James Ward-Prowse signing for it was the manager who insisted that was a deal which had to be done.
Hammers force Steidten
It was Steidten though who joined driving force David Sullivan in helping sort out the contract which saw Jarrod Bowen sign for seven years. To be fair though r little of the Steidten’s powers of persuasion were required such was the No 20’s enthusiasm to agree terms.
At 44 years old the German has youth very much on his side and we understand he wants to see the squad’s age level brought down.
David Sullivan, who had been responsible for conducting the search for a technical director told us exclusively : “I interviewed five or six people . He was recommended by people I know in Germany. We did it all quietly and discretely, the WHU way !”
Seems to be having a major influence and we seem to be dealing at a better level now and concluding deals quicker too. Looks like Tim himself has been a great signing.!
