How to Watch West Ham’s First Pre Season Friendly

West Ham United begin this summer’s pre-season tomorrow with a friendly against Grasshopper Club Zürich.

Graham Potter has had the benefit of almost a full squad during the Hammers’ pre-season trip to the Black Forest, and Saturday’s 2pm (UK time) kick-off will give fans a first glimpse of his plans in a semi-competitive warm-up game.

Will we see El Hadji Malick Diouf in action for the first time? Will Luis Guilherme start? Will Niclas Füllkrug look as sharp and focused as reports suggest? And perhaps most importantly—what will Potter do with West Ham’s problem midfield?

These are just some of the questions we’ll start to get answers to—alongside what should be a healthy sprinkling of academy talent getting minutes.

The match will be streamed live on the West Ham United YouTube channel (linked below), so thankfully there’s no need to scramble around for dodgy streams. Just sit back, enjoy a relaxed bit of football, and see what Potter’s early plans look like before the serious stuff gets going.
