CandH ratings man Niall McDonald gives his view on the Hammers against Norwich.
Fabianski: A very quiet afternoon by West Ham keeper standards 6
Fredericks: Did really well, took no chances defensively and used his pace to get up and down the flank all afternoon 8
Diop: One foray upfield resulted in delivering what may be his first-ever cross – took a good 2 mins to recover from it 7
Ogbonna: Did his bit to prevent Norwich’s man-of-the-moment Pukki from having any attempts on goal 7
Masuaku: Brilliant surging run and assist for the opener; a good day to show of his pace and attacking prowess 7
Rice: Didn’t look quite as imperious for the first hour but then took control of the midfield as the game opened up 6
Noble: An inspired performance; left to a hugely-deserved standing ovation 8
Anderson: Excellent down the left, especially in the second half 8
Lanzini: I have to keep reminding myself that now he’s surrounded by better players we’re not expecting everything to go through him; one of several players denied a goal by Krul acrobatics 7
Yarmolenko: Played inside-right in first half, which prevented him cutting in on his left foot. Deserved his goal after nearly splitting the post in half with a thunderbolt snapshot just before 7
Haller: Another exemplary display of centre-forward play in the first-half, topped with his 3rd goal 8
Subs
Snodgrass: Fresh legs on the break late on 5
Sanchez: Helped close out the win 4
Fornals: Brought on for the win bonus 4
Masuaku – his assist is surely worthy of goal of the month; you just want to watch it again and again as he accelerated pass the defender and put in a perfect cross for Haller. His overall display has also matured immeasurably. 7++
Anderson – I am biased but he should be rated 11/10 for his entertainment value alone.
