How we rated the Irons against the Bees

|

Hughie hands out his marks

Fabianski: Two or three remarkable saves but had no chance with winner after another great stop. Getting rid  of the ball much quicker than usual 7

Coufal: Very heavy touch at times spoiled some forward movement – the lad’s looking tired but better second half 6

Zouma: Almost scored with fine header from corner – very stretched at times by Toney and Co 6+

Ogbonna: Similar game to Zouma 6+

Cresswell: Did well in the second half, getting forward well and some very decent crosses 7

Rice: Looked leggy with cramp at the end telling it’s own tale. Struggled with the Bees employing an extra midfielder 7

Soucek: Efficient is the best word but there’s still not last season’s attacking threat 6

Bowen: Great goal, worked his socks off but could have had a second with an off target header 7+

Benrahma: Wasn’t really in the game too often which was a shame as he looked the  one who could have created more chances 6

Fornals: Lots of neat passing and plenty of energy 6+

Antonio: Always a real threat turning away and inside defenders – if only he or Tomas could have got a touch on a great Cresswell cross it would have ben a different story 7+
