Diop: Very iffy performance which improved marginally in the second half but generally a worrying performance at times 5
Dawson: Preferred to Oggy back from suspension with a sound performance 7
Cresswell: Good to see him back – very decent performance front and back 7+
Soucek: Played an out and out defensive role in the middle in the absence of Dec and Nobes 7
Fornals: Put in a terrific shift – the boy never stops running 7+
Lingard: Not at the level of his earlier games but always a threat 7
Benrahma: Best performance since he arrived – some great passing and movement plus two fine assists 9
Lanzini: “Nice to see Manu back – I wasn’t too impressed with his twin brother 7
Antonio: Brilliant to have him back and two great goals tell the story. Always a massive menace 9

Tight on the marking imho Diop showed his weakness under the ball over the top behind him, he needs to work on that because it is his blind spot, I thought he still recovered well though and gave 100% so give him a 7, likewise Lingard today a 7 bur Coufa was a 9+ off the charts as was Soucek in the DM role an absolute monster 9, Antonio 9, Dawson 9, Fabianski 8+ and everyone else 8, Benrahma is getting better, if he keeps the faith he can really make a difference for us. Henry has it right we should have played like that againstUtd. Keep playing like that and we will be in every game, if we get Dec back and the others stay fit we could win all of them COYI !!!

The only score I would have liked to have seen was a 10 for David Moyes but otherwise a fair assessment
I agree that David gets a 10,unlike the person who runs the Hammers news website.He is upset that Moysie was furious with Saids shooting way off target and not showing the same anger with Mikey and Jess when they did the same.He then went on to say its Davids fault that said is underperforming and he should give him a cuddle rather than vent his anger.Claret and Hugh is a well balanced and sensible site that gives you the chance to respond to comments,Hammers news often publish comments that grind my gears and get frustrated with so called fans who never seem to enjoy the moment.

To your point, Said is not only unproven at this level, but has a history of being very wasteful. It is only now that he is starting to show his colours. Mike and Lingy are more than proven….He trusts them, get it! Do you think Moyes and Said don’t talk on the training ground. He will be under direct instruction, Stop putting it in row Z while trying to get your first goal from range!! If he was getting very bad treatment, he wouldn’t be in the side………Football is a tough environment, especially the Prem, get used to it or ship out!!
