Martin: Three great saves and always confident – no chance with either goal 7.5

Fredericks: Often stretched defensively and not much to offer going forward  4.5

Balbuena: Had a decent game as Wolves poured forward 6

Noble: Second best all night to a slick moving Wolves midfield 4

Snodgrass: Off injured soon after missing out on the best chance of our night in a one on one with keeper but always trying  to get forward 5.5

Fornals: Looking better and drew one great save from the keeper 6

Anderson: Tried hard to pull the strings and always involved but where’s the great dribbling and shots gone

Haller: Offered nothing – very poor 1

Subs:

Holland: Bit off more than he could chew a couple of times but his time will come 4

Ajeti: Let’s not go there 0

  1. Pellegrini out. It doesn’t need to be justified any longer.

  2. Our acquisition of players has been so bad that we end up with 4 wingers on the pitch. Pellegrini must go now

  3. Cant blame the front players for continuing poor service. The sheer amount of wayward passes in midfield, and to big of a gap between Haller and our nearest midfielder way to often.

4-3-3 with three DMs is the only way that this squad is going to get close to fulfilling its potential.

  4. Back to bad old ways, no one looked like scoring. Either we bought the wrong players or they not managed right. Either way it’s Pellegini fault.

  5. Feel sorry for Holland
What was his position and formation when he came on.
It would of been better for him to come on for Snodgrass. But no Pellegrini would rather not go for the in form player rather the out of touch Yarmolenko.
Who was playing in Noble’s role when Hollland entered the fray, bloody ridiculous.

  6. Surely that is enough…..here we are scratching around for crumbs of comfort after the Chelsea game. We have just been made to look ordinary by a side that’s has already played two tough games this week. A side that Sheff Utd pushed much closer than we did.
I have supported this club for over 60 years & I realised last night I have got hardly any enjoyment from it since the 2015/16 season. Leaving the old ground was bad enough but I could just about take that if it had led to something close to the brave new world we were promised. I know my memory is going but I can hardly remember a really good performance in that time. Yes we have had the odd win against a top side, which has usually involved a rearguard action & clearances off the line. Then a few wins in end of season games that mean nothing but get us to safety. But in between so much complete dross, season after season. The owners are a disgrace & I just don’t think I want to put any more money in their pockets when they have given us back so very little. Nothing will change unless they do & they seem to think they are doing just fine. Did I dream that Sullivan has ambitions of creating a ‘dynasty’ with his family running the club? Was that a nightmare? Thank goodness I won’t be around to see it.

  7. Would give Haller more and Snos less.
Snods corners were poor and he really fluffed his excellent chance of equalizing.
