How we rated the Irons v Spurs

Hugh hands out his ratings on a disappointing night

Adrian: Left exposed for two goals – no chance with the other 6

Fredericks: Rusty after so much inaction – made no serious impact 5

Diop: All class but clearly missed his mate Balbuena at heart of defence 7

Ogbonna: Handed Spurs the opening goal and never truly at ease 4

Masuaku: Tried hard to make his presence felt and looked good on the run but finishing ball still missing 6

Rice: Just a class act 8

Obiang: Went unnoticed for periods and another who looked ring rusty 5

Diangana: Sheer brilliance at times – played his heart out 9

Chicharito; Some glimpses of class here and there but he is spreading his talent very thin these days 5

Anderson: He’s having a torrid time – once again little from him 4

Antonio: Ran his heart out and caused problems at times but there’s still something missing from his game 6

Subs:

Arnie: One sizzling cross, tireless work and lifted the team when arriving 7

Perez: Grabbed the goal and probably had his best game in the shirt 6

Snodgrass: Much better crossing than from Anderson and always looking to make things happen 7

  1. Obiang and Fredericks get a pass through being rusty when Ogbana has played less!
