Howe wanted above Dyche, Benitez, Moyes and Hughton

West Ham supporters would like to see Eddie Howe appointed as the next manager should Manuel Pellegrini lose his job in December.

A Claret and Hugh poll of almost 1,300 readers has revealed nearly 47% would like to see Eddie Howe appointed if Pellegrini got the sack this year.

Sean Dyche is the second most wanted replacement should the role become vacant with nearly 20% of the vote while Benitez is placed third with 15% of the vote.

Former West Ham David Moyes attracted 12% while Chris Hughton and Christer Galtier polled just 3% each.
