Hundreds will miss kick off

JubileelineHundreds of West Ham fans are stranded on the Jubilee line underground and unlikely to make kick off at 12.45pm

The Jubilee Line is suffering severe delays after a power supply problem at Canary Wharf  station which caused the suspension of all trains between London Bridge and Stratford.  We understand that trains are moving again but very slowly with hundreds likely to miss  the early kick off.

Despite being another 35,000 sell out at the Boleyn Ground, BT Sports TV coverage shows many empty seats around the ground as Hammers fans struggle to get to the match after the public transport failure.

  1. Gutted over this, ended up getting off the tube at North Greenwich, cable car to Royal Victoria, thence to Canning Town and bus to Green Street… I heard the noise over the Ant’s goal literally as I got off the bus… so ****ed off, particularly after the crap second half – what a waste of time and money, and to add insult to injury I was never asked for my train ticket ticket on either journey ffs!
