If anyone is getting this striker it’s the Hammers

By Dave Langton

West Ham are in pole position to sign Adam Hlozek in the January transfer window.

We have long been linked with a move to sign the Sparta Prague forward and we have had it confirmed that the Hammers are currently leading the queue of admirers to secure his signature.

Daniel Kretinsky has now invested in the Hammers and he, of course,  also has a major stake in Sparta.

There is a belief that the Czech billionaire will simply not allow Hlozek to go anywhere else, despite links with various other clubs.

Hlozek has been a sensation with Sparta and has has scored 25 goals, while also registering 24 assists, in 76 games, and has also won 12 caps for the Czech Republic. Hlozek is just 19.

We know that David Moyes s desperate to bring another striker into the club in the winter window to provide support to Mikey Antonio up top.

Hlozek has a contract with Sparta until 2024 and is valued at £15.3m by Transfermarkt.
