Important Spurs injury news ahead of Irons

|

deleInteresting news out of Spurs this morning is that midfielder Dele Ali is likely to miss next weekend’s game against the Irons after twisting his knee in training last week.

The 20 year old was preparing to face  Arsenal when he sustained the injury, with  boss Mauricio Pochettino saying he’d be out for a few weeks.

So that would make him an unlikely starter against us.

If Alli doesn’t recover in time Pochettino could be tempted to play the same 3-5-2 formation that started the 1-1 draw with Arsenal last weekend.

Son Heung-Min was pushed forward to partner Harry Kane, while Christian Eriksen played just in front of the midfield two of Victor Wanyama and Moussa Dembele.

Left back Ben Davies will also be absent as he recovers from an ankle injury picked up during Spurs’ 1-0 Champions League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on November 2.

I only visit this website rarely now. I’m sick of the adverts hijacking everything so I have to close down and open up again only for the same thing to happen. The news on here is mostly negative and depressing and detrimental to the club anyway so no big loss.

Unfortunately Toby A will be back in defence after a month out.
Looking forward to going as usual but sick to my stomach when we lose 🙁
Agree about the ads, Netflix popped up while I typed this.

Completely behind u ray. I only open under half of the articles now, and only when it seems like actual new news, just because I can’t be bothered battleing to close ads for a casual catch up.

I understand the need and the fact that advertising keeps C&H alive but this site is now absolutely ruined by the ads. It’s impossible to read/scroll without something popping up or being diverted to another page. The full page ads are the worst, being almost impossible to close on a phone screen without being sent to the advertiser’s web site.
