Incredible Irons comeback

West Ham’s Under-18s battled back from 3-1 down against Spurs today to win 4-3.

The Hammers kids pulled off an incredible comeback to continue what has been a superb start to the season.

The U18s have won all 10 of their 10 games thus far this season and are well clear at the top of the Under-18 Premier League South table.

They looked as though they were going to be consigned to defeat today, though, as Spurs had a 3-1 lead by the 51st minute.

Will Lankshear scored a hat-trick for Tottenham, with the Hammers’ first goal coming from Lewis Orford.

Oliver Scarles made it 3-2 on 64 minutes and a Divin Mubama brace then sealed a sensational comeback to keep the perfect league record intact.

The Hammers kids continue to impress and one has to think that, at some point, players from the youth system need to be integrated into the first-team.

Let’s hope David Moyes was keeping an eye on this one.
