Injury and suspension worries ahead of Chelsea game

The Hammers are going to be hard hit for the game against Chelsea with injuries and suspension.

Arthur Masuaku is unlikely to be in the frame for the game with fluid on the knee and his sending off against Newcastle means that Craig Dawson will be missing until May 1 when the team travel to Burnley.

Declan Rice is still believed to be three weeks away from a first team return and no return date has been put on Mikey Antonio.

Sadly, too, the Chelsea game will come too soon for Aaron Cresswell who – as reported earlier – has pulled a hamstring but could also be back for the visit to Turf Moor.

Ryan Fredericks – who made a late appearance against Newcastle and was given a run- out for the under 23s against Everton last night.

He supplied the cross for Mipo Odubeko’s first of two goals and is likely to be involved against the Blues given the increasing first team burdens.

  1. We will do it the hard way but I think we will win this game . The lads will step up and give it their all as they have done all season. COYI ⚒

  2. Just wanted to add a potential summer signing that I believe would be a very successful signing to Moyes and West ham to solidify the midfield and that would be Maitland – Niles. I believe, with the right manager behind him, he’ll be a tremendous asset. We know that Noble can’t cut-it, and if Rice is sold, we have a complete replacement. Worth thinking about?
