West Ham’s famous ‘Insider’ has confirmed the club are in the market for a right back – on loan with an option to buy.
This confirms the news we brought this morning on the site although at this stage no names are in the frame with the ‘Insider’ declaring only: “My sources have confirmed to me that the Club are still working on trying to sign another right back on loan with an option to buy.”
And he adds that although it’s widely believed our business will be done after that: “I have been told never say never and the Club will always be open to an exciting late offer.”
With news circulating that we could be in for Arsenal’s international star Jack Wilshere the club has again managed to stoke up transfer deadline day fever.
The Insider adds that the club will never talk about individuals who may be leaving but are considering allowing a fringe attacking player to leave with the imminent return of Dimitri Payet and new signing Sofiane Feghouli after the international break.
That of course is believed to be Pedro Obiang.
We have blacked out the eyes of the man we believe to be The Insider to protect his identity
I hope we’re not considering Jack Wilshere, not a nice bloke, will be a negative influence and disruptive to squad harmony (imo)
I’m reading that West Ham are talking to Micah Richards.
A powerful player who has probably underperformed at his various Clubs so far, could be a reasonable punt!
You are right Johnham.EVERYTHING you now say is right. Its a new rule that has been implemented on Fish N Chips N Hugh……
Johnham you are the guru and I would like to offer all my apologies for disagreeing with you in the past and if you feel like I’ve bullied or harassed you in the past I offer my sincerest apologies:) I must conform to the 16th commandment of Fishter to remain a member of Claret and Fishy.
It’s ok I’m sure he will return back to his original alias at some point & p1ss off back to Wetpants.
Bubs. Tore at lease has made a contribution to the win against Bournemouth. The player that has disappointed me most has been Nordsvelt. Poor auld Enner – you give him one hard time. If I told you that Bilic made a mistake taking him off at 2-1 and reverting back to 1 up top, I suppose you think I was mad lol lol
I’m with Bubs on Valencia, if not so harshly (??), J1. I feel sorry for Enner, as he’s been v professional, but enough is enough. When the owner of Villa saw his vids, he immediately cancelled any interest….I mean, just where does he fit? Not a no9; way too short (although Antonio doesn’t have that prob!)…N ot good on the wing. No 10?? He is a bit of a damp squib. Fantastic header against Hull (eons ago!) and 2 superb goals against Bournemouth…but not that much else?? I wish some club would snap him up and makie a go of it….Just not us!!
Sorry Johnham I would love to tell you you are mad, crazy & off your rocker about signings like I normally do when pulling your leg but I don’t want to get accused of bullying you mate.
So all I can do now is agree with all you say lol 😀
Who is the so called Right Back ?
I will be sorry to see Obiang leave and not sure he wants to go,he is still young and a good pro but we have so many good players in that position and not sure he or Poyet will ever gat a chance,
Valencia is the only person who needs to go for himself and the club we do not need to replace him,
The other big problem is Tore I do not think he will be good enough for our team and is never going to be an improvement on Antonio,Feggolui,Ayew,Lanzini,Poyet who will all be fighting for 2 places in the team along with a central forward,
I just hope Slav is more loyal to the club then him,he has to realise he has made an error at the moment and unless I have it wrong and he has a breakdown in his form,
But watching him at times I can not see that fire people like Ant,Noble Kouyate have to regain there form
I agree Bubs. But whilst I think Tore has been pretty useless, basically, he has been played mainly on the wrong side etc. I do think he needs more of a chance….BUT as you say, not at the expense of the superb people ahead of him fighting for a place.
The interesting one is Feghouli or Ant: we both are in the Ant camp, afterall, as you put it, who would the strikers prefer putting in the crosses (or just the sheer amount of them)? Having said that, Feg is a superb player…v difficult. I wonder if he could play in the centre??
I would be sad to see Obiang go. At least last season, he was pretty reliable. Not the best, but could come on and do a v good job. I was against him initially, but I was pleased to have my opinions changed by his performances….Perhaps he is fed up too with playing 2nd, 3rd, 4th fiddle. If he DOES go, I wish him all the best. He’s been a good pro…
Obiang is not an attacking player his a cm / cdm surely it has to be Valencia?!?
My thoughts exactly. Maybe Slav has been getting their positions mixed up? It would explain a few things…
