International action looks set to enforce change

David Moyes could use the hectic International fixtures as an excuse to rest some of his players for Sunday’s trip to Goodison Park to face Everton away.

Łukasz Fabiański, Tomas Soucek and Nikola Vlasic could all be rested tomorrow to give others a start.

Alphonse Areola, Alex Kral and Manuel Lanzini could be the beneficiaries as the manager prepares his squad for three games in seven days.

Michail Antonio is unlikely to play all three games and with Declan Rice suffering from cramps in recent games he may get a rest in one or more games too.

The gaffer is also likely to switch things around with the centre backs between Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson and Issa Diop.

We have yet to hear about the fitness of Vladimir Coufal and Ryan Fredericks both of which suffered injuries before the International break.

We are likely to see three different starting lineups over the next week.

Speaking at today’s presser Moyes said “Probably like everybody else we have probably got one or two injuries, one or two people, coming back from international duty that we will have to look after but it looks like this international break has taken its toll on a lot of people and we are no different.”
