Following on from yesterday’s report on CandH, West Ham have now made an approach to the signing of Lens defender Kevin Danso, as they look to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new Premier League season.
Despite the signing of Max Kilman, Julen Lopetegui is still on the lookout for another new central defender, amid doubts over the future of Nayef Aguerd at the London Stadium. Danso, who has impressed in Ligue 1, is seen as a potential target for the Irons
Foot Mercato claim that Lens are open to selling the 25-year-old for a fee of around £21 million, but West Ham will face competition from other clubs, including Atalanta and Bayern Munich, for his signature.
The Austrian defender is known for his pace, strength, and versatility, and would be a valuable addition to the West Ham squad. However, the Hammers will need to act quickly to secure his services, as other clubs are also keen on signing him.
