Irons and LLDC in peace talks bid

West Ham United and the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) will sit down this week in a face to face meeting attended by senior executives on both sides in an attempt to resolve their differences over the London Stadium.

The news comes after a spate of recent ‘tit for tat exchanges’ in the public domain.

Claret and Hugh understand that both sides are keen to resolve their differences and find a solution that saves face for both parties.

A source close to West Ham told C&H this morning: “We’ll make various offers and see what happens. We would like to resolve things”

The LLDC is also thought to have come under some recent pressure from the Mayor of London who is also keen to see a solution to move forward to settle the very public and embarrassing disputes.

That the two sides are sitting down together at all is a big step forward and reinfiorces the view that some solutions are keen to be found.
