Irons badge news on the way

800px-West_Ham_United_FC.svgWest Ham’s three consultation sessions with the fans over the possibility of a new crest closed yesterday (Friday) and official news of  the process could be provided by next week.

The club hosted three in-person consultation sessions at the Boleyn Ground where fans discussed their ideas with staff before providing written feedback.

And ClaretandHugh has learned over the last 24 hours that news of how the process went could be supplied as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.

The club were happy with the fans’ sessions and we were told this morning that it was hoped a decision on the issue as quickly as possible.

The club say: “The feedback provided by fans is being analysed by the Club to decide whether a desire exists among the Club’s most loyal fans to evolve the crest.”

And an independent survey company SMG YouGov has been appointed  to run and administer the consultation and polling.

I don’t think the club are being upfront about the significance of the castle’s connection to the club. See westhampals.blogspot.co.uk
