West Ham United have made a £15 million bid for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, according to reports.
The Hammers are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer, and Nelson has been identified as a potential target. The 24-year-old has shown glimpses of his talent at Arsenal, but has struggled for consistency.
West Ham believe that Nelson could be a good fit for their squad, and are hoping to convince Arsenal to sell the winger. However, the Gunners are reluctant to let Nelson go, and are believed to be holding out for a higher fee.
If West Ham can agree a deal with Arsenal, Nelson could be a valuable addition to the squad. The winger has pace, dribbling ability, and an eye for goal, and could provide competition for the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus.
Lopetegui is clearly targeting a right-footed attacker who’s capable of playing out wide on the left, in order to add more balance to his team.
However, the Hammers must be wary of Nelson’s injury record, which has been a concern in recent seasons. The club will need to conduct a thorough medical before completing the deal.

Apparently he’s available at £30m but we won’t pay that. Not when Nelson or Jota are half the fee. Unfortunately.
