Irons boost as Man U are held

West Ham can tomorrow (Sun) go three points ahead of Manchester United who blew their chance to grab fourth place from us in their game against Southampton today.

United  caught up with the Irons on games in hand until tomorrow  – both having now played 24 at the moment but victory at the Power King will put the Irons three points ahead on the Old Trafford club with what is currently a five goal difference advantage.

Sancho’s first half strike was equalised by Adams three minutes into the second half as the south coast side – our FA Cup opponents – earned a valuable draw,

Tomorrow’s games see Spurs – with three games in hand on the Irons – welcome Wolves who themselves are pushing hard immediately behind their opponents in eighth place with two games in hand on us.

That’s why a victory for the Irons is of paramount importance as we take on Brendan Rodgers; Foxes who are having a very average season and currently sit in twelfth position.
