Irons boss admits big selection problem

Zouma – set for return

David Moyes has a very big decision on his hands this afternoon – does he or doesn’t he risk big summer signing Kurt Zouma.

What with a big knee injury and a covid infection alongside his recovery it is a big dilemma and with Ronaldo all set to be a serious threat one that he will need to think through very carefully.

Zouma has looked a massive buy for the club and we will all be keeping our fingers crossed that after several days training he is ready for the game.

He could be the difference between victory and defeat as the Irons look to hold onto a top four spot and putting more distance between themselves and United.

Speaking to reporters the Irons boss said: “We’ve been watching him training and I’ve got a decision to make as to whether he’s ready to play or not. Not sure yet, we need to see.

He’s had a knee problem and he’s recovering from covid as well which has added to that. We’ll need to see.

His injury is the big one, the ovid is a big one as well because some people can recovery very quickly, some can take longer. He is coming on great so we’ve just got to hope that he’s much closer to it.”
