Irons clear-out but Taylor, McCartney set for deals

|

TaylorWest Ham’s out of contract players are set to know their futures sooner rather than later this season.

And a  ClaretandHugh probes has shown that both George McCartney and Matt Taylor could be the only two who are set to be get revised offers from the club.

A source revealed that with the club set to strengthen across the board this summer, the pair are likely to get revised deal offers for another year in order to keep them out of the clutches of ambitious Championship clubs.

Decisions on the players who come out of contract in June will be made very quickly after the end of season review board meeting next week at which am Allardyce’s position will be made clear.

Veteran keeper Jussi Jaaskalainen  – having not completed a 60 per cent qualification rule on games in his contract-  is likely to be released – along with Joe Cole, Jack Collison and young left back Danny Potts.

The  loanees  Roger Johnson, Pablo Armero,  and Antonio Nocerino , Marco Borriello and Pablo Armero are all set to return to their parent clubs.

And there is now every chance that Danny Potts and  Jordan Spence are set to be made avaialble.

I must admit i do question some of Big Sams signings – George McCartney to get a new contract ? omg how many times was he caught out of position this season – far too many.

Downing is useless and if Sam cant see that then it is of big concern.
The Italian guys are not up to standard , simple. Nolan (god bless him) his legs have gone. We need 4-5 quality new players.

I would like us to go in for Jordan Rhodes who scores goals at any level.
