Irons defender leaves on loan

|

HenryDoneil  Henry has rejoined Blackburn Rovers where he seriously impressed in three games before sustaining a hamstring injury last season.

He will remain on loan with the Championship club until January 3 although further arrangements are possible.

The 22-year-old Canada international player joined the Hammers from Cypriot side Apollon Limassol in January 2015, and has made one first-team appearance.

Speaking to the Irons official website he said:  “It is great to be back here again – it is a great club. The last time I was here I felt really welcomed.

New Rovers manager Paul Lambert said: “I’m delighted to be able to bring Doneil back. I know that he did very well last time he was here, prior to his injury.

“We felt that it was important to add an extra body to the defensive department and Doneil was the obvious choice.”

Great we can read how well he does at another club while our defenders go back to basics
Let’s hope he does not return injured in a couple of weeks
Good luck at least you will get a game and pass on what you have learned from Jenkinson
