Irons explain Carroll’s Norwich injury worries

|

CarollFears that Andy Carroll will make a return to the treatment room after lunging into a tackle on Saturday against Norwich City have proved unfounded.

The big fella appeared to be hobbling after making the challenge but the Hammers told ClaretandHugh this evening that all appears to be well with the club’s record signing.

Everybody’s heart leaps into their mouth whenever the £17 million record signing launches himself into action but the club have explained to ClaretandHugh that all appears to be well.

Indeed our senior source was delighted about his performance as sub claiming it was his presence in the box which scared the Norwich City defence sufficiently for Cheik Kouyate to grab the late leveller.

And it would be surprising if the big man doesn’t see more action at Sunderland this weekend where his presence could worry a mistake-ridden Sunderland defence half to death.

Our source explained that all was well with the player declaring: “He seems fine. There have been no reports to the contrary.

“He has a real chance to make a proper return as with Sakho in such superb form there’s no necessity to rush him back as has sometimes been the case in the past.”

We’ll all be blasting out Christmas Carroll’s this year as the decorations stay up well into February . It feels different somehow this year . I’m sure Bilic does’nt need advice from Pundit’s on what we must do . It’s other teams that need advice on how to Play Us .

I know there was a chorus of ‘Oh no not again’ around me when he went down on Saturday – it’s his peculiar loping style of running and habit of lunging into challenges that makes you fear for his long term fitness.

I suppose every times he sneezes we are going to hold our breath,
    Not me
As long as Sakho does not gist another witch doctor I will be smiling
AC is like having your first born taking his first steps every time he drops on his rear you start to get up then they get back up and fall again in the next you don’t blink,
Trouble is Andy will probably walk in to a coffee table someday soon take the skin off his knee get a rare skin virus the touch Payet and Kouyate in training and they all go down with it and miss the rest of the season,
Then I wake up smile and go up the pub ( just another Carroll bad dream )
Well he has lasted a week longer than Austin ( I know not funny )
