Irons eyeing Bournemouth raid – report

West Ham are considering a potential bid to sign Jordan Zemura from AFC Bournemouth this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The outlet claims that the Hammers are eyeing the left-back as David Moyes aims to bring in some real depth in the position.

Aaron Cresswell remains the first-choice option but Arthur Masuaku is not highly-rated, and a new left-back could well become a target.

Zemura is 22 and is already a full Zimbabwe international, with six caps, and he enjoyed his first-team breakthrough last season, making 33 appearances in the Championship as the Cherries won promotion to the Premier League.

His contract is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season, though, and West Ham are said to see an opportunity to bring him into the club in this transfer window.

Bournemouth, though, are said to be willing to offer him a new contract in order to ward off the interest, having won their promotion to the top-flight.

Keep an eye on this one…
