West Ham are reported to be eyeing a double raid on Serie A as the Hammers eye January reinforcements.
A report from L’Arena claims that the Irons are interested in a deal to sign Argentina striker Giovanni Simeone and Czech attacking midfielder Antonin Barak, who are both on the books at Hellas Verona.
The Irons are, of course, keen to bring in a new striker in January to provide support for Mikey Antonio, who remains our only out-and-out forward.
Simeone has been in excellent form for Hellas Verona during his loan from Cagliari and has scored nine goals in 10 games in Serie A this term, including an amazing four-goal haul in a 4-1 win over Lazio.
Hellas have the option to buy Simeone at the end of his loan for €12m (£10.1m) and they are said to be eyeing a quick profit on him in the summer.
Barak has also been in excellent form, with four goals from attacking midfield, and is valued at €25m (£21m).
This is one to keep an eye on, although it may have to wait until the summer!
