Irons face Slovenians in Europa

europa-league-1418338658West Ham United will face Slovenian side NK Domzale in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.

Slaven Bilic’s squad will travel to Slovenia for the first leg on Thursday 28 July at 8.45pm CEST (7.45pm BST), with the tie being switched to the modern 16,155-capacity Stozice Stadium in the capital city of Ljubljana – ten miles south west of the town Domzale.

The return leg on Thursday 4 August at 7.45pm BST will be the first match at the Hammers’ new London Stadium home on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Click here for second leg ticket details.

Domzale beat Shakhtyor Soligorsk tonight to earn the right to meet the Irons after emerging 1-0 winners of the second leg to edge their way into the next round.

    Watched the game , will need extra shin pads , not to be drawn into 50/50 challenges as they go down like ten pins , no protection from 2nd class ref, come mainly down the left , full of running and commitment , dangerous at set pieces ,
    If we can’t beat this mob , its going to be a long season ?
