Irons face unlikely competition for Batshuayi

batshWest Ham have unlikely rivals in the shape of  Fenerbahce as they continue their pursuit of Nichy Batshuayi – at least according to one Turkish newspaper.

Fanatik claims the Turkish outfit want to loan the player for next season and are confident they can beat the Irons to his signature.

The ‘paper also reckons  Slaven Bilic isn’t that keen on the player  which truly takes some swallowing considering he made the Belgian his Number One target last season and the club bid over £30 million.

Fenerbahce hope that alleged “close ties”  with Chelsea will give them an advantage over West Ham.

But ClaretandHugh understands that a deal between the south west London outfit and the Irons is still very active after the striker struggled to hold down a place in Antonio Conte’s team.

  1. See what happens with Costa, if he goes they are less likely to let Batshuayi go imo.
