  1. Disappointing it doesn’t look like any of the youth team players are getting a chance in the cup this year. Would have liked to see the likes of Oxford Cullen and Holland given a chance. In contrast our under 23 player we just sold to Watford for peanuts, described by sky sports as a wonderkid, Domingos Quina was scoring a wonder strike for Watford last night.

  2. You either want to win it or you play the kids.

  3. I sort of agree with you Clive, as it’s always good to see the youngsters get a run out. But we supporters have been banging on for some time about a decent cup run, and playing a strong(er) team obviously gives us more of an opportunity to do so.
If we got turned over on Tuesday playing the kids, Manny would have been accused (as others have before him) of not taking the cups seriously (however tin-pot the Carabeo is). Remember Forest? So I’m with you Mooro👍

  4. One or two kids not all of them. Holland is ready and Oxford was considered good enough for the Bundesliga.
As for Nottingham forest hardly the same thing. allardyce played a whole team of kids not just one or two because he wanted to get knocked out because he considered a relegation battle more important than winning a cup. Different kettle nowadays.
