Irons fear Bowen and Co relegation mass exodus

By Hughie Southon

West Ham fear a max exodus of top stars should they be relegated this season.

Among those who would be keen to leave, along with the certain departure of captain Declan Rice, are  Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma.

The Hammers powers-that-be have accepted  relegation is a very real possibility and have written wage cut clauses into all contracts.

And that they have even suggested that David Moyes could still be in charge should we drop into the Championship demonstrates demonstrates  the reality of their thinking.

Bowen has long been admired by several clubs including Liverpool whilst Benrahma would be unhappy to return to the second level of English football having joined the Hammers from then Championship club Brentford.

Manu Lanzini, Pablo Fornals and Mikey Antonio are among the others who would attract interest from various PL clubs looking to hopefully boost their squads on the cheap.

A key insider told ClaretandHugh exclusively when we inquired about Lanzini’s position and others: “It depends very much on which league are in!”

  1. Is Moyes the terminator of academy players as well as first team players?.
Because when you hear ex academy players say it on media. And first team players agreaved on the pitch and walking straight down the tunnel in a match. It seems to me he’s a cancer to our club. Not a saviour. This is all so public. Why are our board walking blind. No offence to blind people.
