Irons gets Lanzini boost

Manu Lanzini is expected to start against Manchester City tomorrow after showing good fitness during training this week.

Mario has started over the past few games with David Moyes unready to risk Manu’s knee which was injured during international duty with the Argentine.

But reports coming out of the camp tonight suggest that the manager is now happy to include him in the team which takes on the championsĀ  as the Hammers look to take something from a game which takes on even more importance following Southampton’s win over Bournemouth on the south coast today (Sat).

It will be a bigĀ  for us to have him back and the club will be hoping that he and Marko can resurrect the link up which has been so effective on occasions this season.

However, there remains a question mark over James Collins who will face a fitness test before kick off.
