Irons halfway to safety next month?

|

So here we are at the start of a week which sees the Hammers moving in sixth place.

Arsenal’s 1-0 struggle at Everton saw them improve their goal difference over the Hammers who face another hugely difficult game at Liverpool this weekend.

We have had a very difficult start to the new season but unlike last term the new arrivals have settled in to the manner born.

Unfortunately they are looking so good we are going to have become used to other clubs casting eyes over them but all that shows is how this club is growing and growing.

To be sat in the top six alongside City, Spurs Liverpool, Brighton and Arsenal is a position we would have all settled for big time before the season started.

And after this weekend we can look at the next group of fixtures with optimism: Sheffield United home, Newcastle home, Villa away and Everton home.

I’m giving us a minimum of eight points from that little lot and counting on at least one from Liverpool by the way!

And that would put us halfway to safety by the end of October!
