Irons hand Spurs strong hands-off warning

|

Kouyate_3191406West Ham have issued a strong hands off warning to Spurs over possible transfer window interest in Chief Kouyate.

There was strong speculation in the summer that the north London mob were preparing a £15 million bid but the Hammers hierarchy was not sure declaring: “It may well have been agent talk to drum up a wage increase.

“We will look at that in the summer but in the meantime there is absolutely no chance of Chiek leaving. He is on  long contract and is going nowhere.”

Kouyate has been one of the team’s most consistent and energetic performers this season but has remained under the radar given the displays of new boys Dimi Payet and Manu Lanzini.

But he is a highly valued player and our source declared: “Transfer talk is unthinkable. We really are not in that selling club place any more. He is staying. It’s as simple as that.”

Why would he want to go to the Spuds ?
We are now as good a side,we are going to get a better stadium,we have better fans who back him 100%’
He has a regular starting spot and we pay him well,
So moving could only be a negative
Players need to repay clubs by seeing out there contracts if he leaves when his contract is up that’s his choice,
