Irons have no problems with Rafa wages

|

rafabentiez_1676338aWest Ham can comfortably afford Rafa Benitez’s likely wage demands should they get down to the serious business of hammering out a possible deal to make the Spaniard our new manager.

For it turns out that based on last season’s Forbes List of the Best Paid world managers, the former Liverpool and Chelsea boss earns LESS than Sam Allardyce.

The current Irons boss – as is well known – picks up a cool £2.95 million a year to make him the world’s 13th best paid whilst high achiever Rafa is back in 16th place on £2.92m.

It had been thought the Napoli boss – whose team crashed out of the Europa Cup last night at the semi-final stage – wanted around £6m to talk to the Hammers but that turns out to be ‘agent talk.’

The manager appears to be keen on a Premier League return and the Irons have been chasing him for several weeks now and holding talks through middle men.

He has talks planned with Napoli but events last night in the Ukraine following the 1-0 defeat by  Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk  may well have swung things in the Hammers direction.

Klopp updates from Germany: Real very much interested, they like his passion on the sideline, his way of motivating players and teambuilding (like a survival camp in Sweden with the players having to catch their own fish in order to get food etc.).
Personally I think that would make him a good fit for West Ham, but not Real.
I doubt that primadonna players like the ones at Real would be keen on survival trips without having their food supply guaranteed.
Apparently Zinedine Zinedane, Real’s assistant manager is a candidate too.
And Klopp has ruled out that his new job has already been sorted out with any club.
    So there you go…

Well, I’m watching a sports newscast on TV: they’ve just say. “He’s fortune is uncertian, he’s increasingly tempted by the West Ham project and its new stadium. The owners see him as the right manager to replace Allardyce”.
The horizon seems to be bright… 😉

Yes Bubs, he’s a great manager, but I’ve just heard that probably he’ll be the next Real Madrid manager. But ehi, never say never…
It has nothing to do with West Ham, but I’ve just heard that probably Man Utd will offer something in the order of €110 million for Bale…
Sam is already planning his future Man UTD… lol

Not a true fan but hope to be one in the future,
Hope you all have a good day tomorrow at BFS GOING AWAY PARTY
You get to watch Chubby Nolan lead the team out trying hard to get booked before he leaves,
Poor old Enner plowing a lone farrow up front,
But hay ho just another day to thank our Lord Sam in his entertaining adventurous year of brilliant football
