Irons heroes fly to the sun!

|

West Ham’s rapidly changing fortunes have been recognised today as the squad jumped aboard a plane for the sun!

Every one of them was heading for three or four days in Dubai as they rested aching limbs after their amazing recent exploits.

Club chief have organised the trip in order to give them a break from their exertions and to enjoy some warm weather training.

Sam Allardyce also wants the lads to make sure they are involved in a bonding session which will see them battling to the cause over the remainder of the season.

The break comes after the squad reached a series of landmarks as they hit tenth place in the League – a rise of eight places in eight days.

They have now kept four successive clean sheets  – the first time in 27 years they have achieved such a feat whilst stringing together three wins on the trot something they last managed seven years ago.

A Claretandhugh club source laughed: “A few weeks ago many fans would have questioned whether they had earned a winter break to Skegness but there can be no complaints now.

“A bit of warm weather training and bonding is exactly what’s required – it will do everybody the world of good. “
