Irons hit with Forest Antonio price hike

|

antonioNottingham Forest have “jacked up the price” of Michail Antonio overnight causing a re-think over the player at West Ham.

Forest were yesterday demanding £7 million for the player and at one stage were believed to have accepted that amount from the Irons.

However ClaretandHugh has learned  exclusively within the last few minutes that when our negotiators went back to talk over some areas, they were told the price had risen to £9 million.

Despite reports elsewhere, we understand there are no new bids from other clubs at this stage and that the Hammers are unlikely to meet the current asking price.

We were told : “The manager considered the position as it stood overnight at £7 million and we are currently thinking through our position. Quite simply, Forest have jacked up the price”

Antonio is worth 6/7m all day long if you look at some of the crap being signed for similiar fees.9m they apparently want is just kicking the arse out of it.

Now Moses is here with Jarvis as cover we don’t need him,if they drop there price when the player put pressure on them and hey might do the deal,
The player will probably get £2 million with agents fees and Forrest are trying to get us to pay it,I expect the player to put in transfer request or agree to forgo his bonus,
    Or NO DEAL,
Sis to would be better but I don’t think there is time to do it

Would much, much rather have Sisto. Better, younger and cheaper.

    No brainer.

    Forest can do one.

  • Roman says:

Does the player have any say in the matter? Does he want to play championship football and possible oblivion or premier league with the hammers ?

  • Michael Miller says:

Forest seem to be difficult people to deal with – let’s hope it can be sorted out!
