Rumours are rife that a mini injury crisis has hit the camp ahead of the game at Goodison Park although no firm details are being revealed.
Winston Reid is likely to be missing until the 22nd of the month with a hip/thigh injury and we are learning that others may be battling a variety of knocks sustained against Aston Villa.
The most worrying rumour came this morning with the grapevine claiming Diafra Sakho was in a fitness race and if true that could put Andy Carroll into the frame earlier than expected.
We were told: “We hope Diafra will be ok but we certainly expect Stewart Downing to be avaialable after his recent injury worries with England.”
However, by and large the lid is being kept on any other injuries but it certainly seems tyje medical staff have some issues on their hands.
