Spurs have zero chance of taking Manu Lanzini from West Ham in the January transfer window.

According to ESPN, sources close to both clubs claim that North Londoners are keen to grab Lanzini but it’s not going to happen according to our own insiders.

Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of the midfielder and is keen to add hm to the squad as he bids to see the team finish in the top four.

Lanzini is tied down to the Hammers until 2020 after making his loan move from Al Jazira permanent in 2016 and any thoughts that he would be allowed to leave were described to us as “nonsensical.” .

Our source said: “We are looking to add to midfield – not sell – and the suggestion that we may be ready to even listen to an offer is fantasy land.

“There have  been no bids or enquiries and anyone considering the idea will get absolutely nowhere with it.”
