Irons keep strong eye on summer target

West Ham’s left back spot continues to raise its head with new reports emerging that Olympiakos’ Leonardo Koutris (right)  remains very much a target for the club.

The position has caused issues all season with first Aaron Cresswell out in the cold before Arthur Masuaku has started to feel the draught over recent games.

Cresswell has waited patiently for a run of games and is now very much the man in possession but whether that will suit Masuaku short of middle term is a question which may need answering sooner rather than later

And in the meantime it appears that the clubs scouts are very much keeping an eye on Koutris who has impressed for the Greek outfit this season.

However, with the Hammers known to be low on funds for winter spending he has become very much a summer target when Masuaku could be one of those released.

He will have a year left on his current deal at that point which would allow the Hammers hope would allow them to earn a fee of around £8 million for him.
