Irons link to former Gooner looks risky

|

Italian journalist Nicolò Schira claims Aaron Ramsey could leave Juventus this summer and make a Premier League return.

He says that both West Ham and Crystal Palace have asked for info on signing the former Arsenal midfielder.

The £400k-a-week earning star has seen his game time limited in Serie A  football, with many of those appearances coming off the bench.

Reports from last summer suggest David Moyes was eyeing up a potential move for the midfielder, and that given Juventus signed him on a free transfer, they are considering letting him go to reduce the wage bill.

He has scored just six goals in 61 appearances and he would need to take a huge wage cut on a contract that doesn’t run out until  June 2023.

Ramsey is unquestionably a top player at his best but given his age and wages this one really should be a non starter in our terms.

At the very least it looks entirely risky.
