Newcastle’s Davide Santon is the latest reported target for the Irons.

The 24 year old joined Newcastle from Inter Milan four years ago and after a decent start has seen his progress interrupted due to a number of injuries.

Some reports have linked him with a return home but reports in the north east continue to link the player with the Irons claiming we are interested in closing a deadline day deal.
