Irons linked with Euro keeper

mattia-perin-546508Reports in Italy claim we may be taking more than a passing interest in Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin with a view to a bid in the summer window.

The Italy international looks set to leave the Serie A club this summer and a number of clubs are reportedly chasing the 22 year old.

TuttoMercatoWeb claim that the Hammers, along with Borussia Dortmund are the latest clubs to show an interest in Perin after an impressive season .

However with Adrian installed as our No 1 and a contender for the Spanish international job the Irons, whilst wanting top class players in ll position, are looking to pay only half or even less of the reported £10.7 million fee.

    Take him, he’s probably the best goalkeeper after Buffon in Serie A. He’s only 22 years old.

      Mmm… It is, however, true that there’s Adrian and probably It’s not Worth it… He has an high valuation, but he’s really a great player.

    Good keeper is he Matte? Like you say though,lot of cash when we have Adrian already,need a cheaper option than this as back-up.Maybe Adrian is off to Barca or Madrid 😀

    Yes he’s really good, but lot of cash… If we hadn’t Adrian he would be perfect. You’re wrong Rads, Nolan is off to Real or Barca… Lol 🙂

    Not my money so not worried what he cost if Matte says he is worth it that’s it,

    He sounds great but I don’t think we should do this to Adrian. He shouldn’t feel like we want to replace him, but I guess competition for places even in GK position is never a bad thing. We shouldn’t be looking to spend more than 3-5M on a GK

    Dont need a keeper for this dough,got Adrian,need to go get a backup is all.Loads of decent keepers out there that will be good 2nd choices.Go get Rob Green from QPR.

    Worse shouts than Green for sure.Dont know if he would come & sit on the bench though.Personally i wouldnt mind seeing him back.

    Why are doing the dirty on Adrien ?
    That’s like saying we are not going to buy another right back because its disloyal to Cresswell,
    If Adrien gets injured or hits a bad spell the keeper is one position you can not cover unlike playing 10 men every week and covering Nolan,
    Why is money the problem and if we are going to spend that amount what about Cech ?
    Chelski only want 10 mil for him and he still has 10 years in him.
